Pros: – Looks like a space ship with a warp drive – Is fast! – Has RGB…on a ROUTER! – Lots of features, some above my head Cons: – Expensive – RGB control is limited. not much else Overall Review: This thing is FAST! I get FULL download speed on my PHONE, and I’m paying for a 400mbps connection. Speedtest app on my phone goes to 478Mbps over wi-fi! It features Wi-Fi 6, which is better at managing many connections, and in a world that lives on Wi-Fi, that’s a good thing. I thought it’d be a good idea to upgrade my router from the ISP provided one (that I can’t control) to my own with the latest features. Oh, and it looks like something out of Elite Dangerous! The feature set is fantastic if you’re into fine-tuning your network, and also includes its own AI protection, so your security suite can relax a little bit. Loving it so far! Don’t pass this one up!

I love this router, my brand new spectrum internet was always cutting out and I would call and get upset all the time due to upload speed dropping form 30 mbps to basically nothing ,,, speeds dropping ,,,, bought this and problem solved !! No more unstable internet…….

Simply doesn’t work as advertised. Spent two entire weeks trying all different settings and tweaks to get it to perform correctly. Consulted many forums and articles too. What a complete waste of time and money. Decent router, terrible mesh system.

I got this router used. I like the fact that I can double ethernet speeds entering the router by inputting two ethernet cables from my DirectTV modem. It has a WiFi 6 interface, which gives great bandwith to the most modern phones and the most modern modern Wifi computer cards. By my experience, the distance WiFi signal can broadcast with this router is not as good as others have noted on the internet. The router configuration interface interface is very user-friendly. I am happy with this purchase!

Its Asus so they tend to last and work well, frequent firmware updates for security and fixes and improvements Cons: None I’ve found yet, maybe more RAM but I have over 160 MB free with a most features enabled Overall Review: Using with 2 Asus AX-55s in a hybrid Aimesh ( gigabit ethernet back haul to one, 5g to a detached garage and using 2 IP cams off of the ethernet ports as a bridge network) Central management for wifi, app on cell phone has most of the features vs website console. I replaced an old Asus N56u when I got new fiber service. I couldn’t be happier for the price and I have wifi to most of my neighborhood 🙂 absolutely no dead areas anywhere near my house/garage.
