Pros: This guy is fast! Was so tired of having a colored printer that the ink was so expensive! With a colored printer it would slowly use a little bit of color ink with the black(whats that about?). This would then make purchasing ink more expensive as the colored printer would refuse to print without all the ink containers having some ink in them. Anyways! this is a great buy! Have had for a good 5 months and no issues have come up. Cons: none

Pros: – Super fast printing. – Super easy to use with Windows 10, just plug the usb and start printing. – The price was great ($49.99 with the promo code). – It is made by Brother so it will last me a long time in the house. Cons: – No wireless but I don’t need it. – No complaint. Overall Review: I prefer separate devices such as Scanners/printers/fax than All-in-1. The toner and drum lasts much longer for the printer in my case, since I use 75 percent black and white prints over color, the toner and drum for the color printer can be saved and I only have to pay fraction for black and white toner and drum compared to color.

Bought this as a “Factory Refurbished” model but I cannot tell what they refurbished. It came in a regular box with the words “Factory Refurbished” printed on the outside, but everything in the box looked like new. I opened it up and it was spotless clean and apparently unused. Software download was a snap, print quality is awesome and printing options are plentiful. My only complaint is that it does not have Bluetooth connectivity, you have to use a router to use it as a wireless unit and set it up on your LAN. Oh well, a long USB cord is really fine with me and that is one less set of airwaves in our house. Excellent quality for the $, I paid $75 delivered and am pleased that it is up to date and the best value package I could find.

Pros: Cheap. low cost printer, highly reliable. Have used this in a small office environment for 2 years without a fault of any kind. Refill using Rosewell toner. The two-sided printing (duplex) is a real money saver if you need it. Cons: None Overall Review: Highly recommend this printer.

Prints quickly and sharply. I was using an inkjet. The printing rate is about 30 times faster, and the quality about 20% better. I’m using Arch Linux and the brlaser project (AUR package available) got me set up wonderfully. Holds like 200 pieces of 8.5×11 paper and has a manual-feed place for paper I guess for legal pages? Automatic duplexing is awesome of course. The printer bends the paper a good deal, so when the paper comes out, if you set it flat on the table, the corners are up quite a bit. To get the paper flat requires some work, and it may relax over time.

Even though compatibility spec only says Mac OS X 10.7, 10.8, 10.9; there are installation apps on the Brother web site specific for each older Mac operating system. The install on my 10.12 was a snap. I was hoping it would be, because I had long ago removed all printer drivers for Brother and other printers to save disk space. The install app put back everything I needed and I was printing within 1-2 minutes. Also, this printer is USB wired to the back of a Mac, not a network. All I had to do was turn on printer sharing on this Mac, and our other Macs could see the shared printer instantly; and it even works when the connected Mac is sleeping. Very convenient. Oh, yeah, the print quality and features are fantastic. Love it!
