Overall Review: Look at the position of the touchpad and think about where you position your hands to type before you buy it. I personally can’t type without constantly right-clicking the mouse given where my right hand rests, which makes me wish I bought a laptop without that design flaw. Otherwise the laptop is great. The hardware is top-end for the price, the form factor is very compact, and the battery life is extremely good. But the touchpad is enough to make it difficult to use.

Overall Review: Had the laptop for less than a month at the time of writing. Screen froze up on two occasions of me maximizing the video screen on YouTube.had to update the driver to fix that. Another occasion the laptop just didn’t boot correctly. Just kept powering up but no display or initial logo. Had to Google and hard reset the thing like 3 times before it started to load up the Asus logo. Hopefully there’s no other issues. You have access to the numpad on your trackpad, which is convenient. It’s lightweight. When it charges though, it gets real hot. Sometimes it won’t pick up on your audio device, and you have to restart it. I don’t know if this is a cause for concern but it seems like there’s a lot of little stuff happening for me to fully enjoy it for school. Battery life is pretty good. I use it for virtual machines. Haven’t played games on it yet. Hopefully, I don’t get any further issues..

Overall Review: Works like a charm. I have had many laptops, this one has been the most consistent of all. Wish I had gone for a touchscreen, but otherwise that was an oversight on my part.

Great laptop, this is the second generation of slim Asus zen book I own and it is as good as the first one was. For me it was the best windows based laptop I owned.
