Pros: Purchased to replace the vendor-supplied FIOS router. Plugged in WAN, plugged in power, and away we went. Setup was pretty easy and I’m getting close to the max on my gigabit FIOS. I’m mostly hard-wired throughout the house using multiple gig switches and getting near gig speeds on all of those lines, but I’m still using the Verizon router to supply wireless to the far reaches of the house… be sure to disable the DHCP server on the original router. I added a cheap WIFI 6 card to one of my desktops where I’m unable to go hard-wire, and I’m getting >600Mbps – I’m pretty happy with that! The price point was great since it was on sale, and the ability to eventually add additional routers via AiMesh is a plus and should let me dump the FIOS router. Cons: WPS connection to one of my devices was not the smoothest, and the on-screen instructions are poor. I always turn WPS off when not in use, so this was a one-time thing for a specific device. Registering the product was odd – much of the dialog was not in English, but I was able to get through it. Identification of the 5 front lights is impossible to read. No slots for wall mounting. Overall Review: The cons are not deal breakers… I would definitely buy again and almost wish I had purchased two to start with the AiMesh.

Pros: – Strong Signal – No connection Drops – Decently long range Cons: – Depending on your ISP, you may have a hard time installing it. I recommend resetting your old modem/router if you have one to get it to work. Overall Review: Excellent product that works as advertised, comes with tons of useful features and will be usefull for many, many years.

Pros: Fast and does what I need; simple set-up; lots of options; simple mobile app to manage Cons: None currently (though Im not using it for much) Overall Review: I got this router for 1 simple reason: playing PCVR games wirelessly using Virtual Desktop on my Oculus Quest and Quest 2, and it works flawlessly. I have my computer hard-wired to the router, the router set to repeat the existing wifi in the house (so I can still get an internet signal to my Quest when connected to the router), and the Quest connected to this routers 5G signal. I get a rock-solid 1200mbps in Virtual Desktop and have no issues at all – exactly what I needed. While not the main reason I got it, I also use this for Steam Link to easily play non-VR PC games on my TV, and, again, have no issues at all – no noticeable video or input lag, and everything always looks crystal clear at 1080p/60fps (the max Steam Link supports). No other devices in the house (except the Quests and Steam Link) are connected to the 5ghz router signal, ensuring the best speeds.I cant really comment on any other use-scenario – but if Virtual Desktop PCVR streaming or Steam Link are what youre looking at this router for, it works fantastically.

Pros: Great for a condo Overall Review: Performs well in my condo. I don’t think you’ll be able to beat the Wifi 6 price/performance ratio with this router elsewhere.

Overall Review: I recently changed out my older router. First I went with the TP-Link router and had nothing but trouble setting it up and it took two weeks for Support to respond. With the ASUS router I did require some support to get it running, a simple phone call that quickly got it going. I haven’t tried the many other routers on the market but this ASUS router is a sure thing.

Pros: – Strong signal. – Direct browser config, no smartphone app required. – Relay/mesh network available. – Wall hangable. Cons: – Wall mount holes on bottom face wrong direction. Overall Review: I like to put my wifi router high up on the wall, to give the signal a little extra help. This router does support wall mounting, but the mounting holes require hanging with the “front”, where the LEDs are, pointing up or down. The problem is that all the cables are in the “back”, and they force the LEDs to be pointing at the ceiling where I can’t see them. It would be perfect to mount it with the LEDs pointing to the side, with the cables hanging out the other side.

Pros: Lots of options, security and speed. ability to program individual devices to different schedules is exactly what i needed. controlling from a phone app as well as PC is very convenient. i love it Cons: nothing major. a few software updates it seemed to drop wifi quite often. it was soooooo anoying until i factory reset it “it kept the updates” i re programed my settings and it seems as good as gold now. so i recomend updating the firmware to latest, factory reset, then set up your network “just from my experience” only happened that once before i factory reset. i could have been lucky or it was a good call Overall Review: After i figured out the issue “I had” its great!!!!
